September 2012
It's been a great month so far with highlights being us hitting over 100% on our Pledge Project for the new album "All The Good Friends". We now have a projected release date in November and Pledges are still being accepted.

Also playing a great gig at Moseley Folk Festival
see review clip below:
Up at the Boho tent Red Shoes played a beautiful set of original tunes including one specially written for the great Dave Swarbrick called "Sunday Afternoon". It turns out they’re going to record it with him soon on their new album. A poignant musing on the fragility of life and the yearning for just one more Sunday afternoon as we near the end, it’s right up there with Roy Harper’s "When An Old Cricketer Leaves The Crease" - Daron Billings, Gig Junkies

August 2012
Just back from Fairport's Cropredy Convention and playing a fabulous gig at The Brasenose Arms as part of the Cropredy Fringe - Thankyou everyone who turned out to see us!

The Pledge Project for the new album is going great guns thanks to you all. We've now hit over 80% and a "work in progress" is available to listen to and download for Pledgers only. Pledge now and you too can hear it! Just hit that link on the right hand side of the page.

"I have played on many tracks for this project and support it  100%. If you enjoyed the last Red Shoes CD, please help Carolyn and Mark out by subscribing to their forthcoming release" - Dave Pegg

July  2012
We are excited to announce that our Pledge Music page has been launched -  This is a brand new way to release music.

You can be involved from the beginning and pledge your support for the release of our follow up album, which will include all sort of extras!

This groundbreaking album will have historical importance, bringing together for the first time in years on a recording,  the legendary figures Dave Pegg on bass and Dave Swarbrick on fiddle.

In conjunction with the launch of our album, we are donating 10% of post target profits to Stroke Association - our chosen charity.

Pledge now and make it happen!

June 2012
After the critical success of the album "Ring Around The Land"
produced by Dave Pegg of Fairport Convention, we are thrilled to announce that our next album will be released this coming Autumn. This will feature Dave Pegg on bass, alongside legendary fiddle player Dave Swarbrick, with Mick Dolan (engineer in the studio for: Show of Hands; Ralph McTell; Stevie Winwood; Mick Jagger; Johnny Coppin; Spooky Tooth) in the Producer's chair.

We love to hear from people, so please do contact us and we will keep you updated of all our news and gigs, plus our shop where you purchase all our merchandise.
